Temperature Resistance
All of EuroKera’s glass-ceramic can withstand very high temperature levels, up to 700ºC (1292ºF) in continuous use. This makes of Keralite® the safest solutions for any fireplace.
Near Zero Thermal Expansion
All of EuroKera’s glass-ceramic does not expand or shrink when exposed to different temperature. Keralite® products present a CTE (20-700ºC) of 0 +/- 1. Keralite® is one strong material.
Thermal Shock Resistance
All of EuroKera’s glass-ceramic can endure extreme thermal shocks (∆Tmax = 700ºC) without busting, cracking or weakening. Keralite® will never shatter due to cold water spills.

Centuries Of Excellence
The glass-melting history of the site of KeraGlass (EuroKera) goes way back. Back to 1752 to be accurate.
In the XVIII century, the “Verrerie Royale” of Bagneaux-sur-Loing (where KeraGlass is located today) was founded in order to supply the King of France. One of its most famous accomplishment was the supply of mirrors for the Mirrors Gallery of the Versailles castle. The Gallery is still to this day considered a jewel of the French culture and people from all over the world visit it every year.
A lot has changed since the seventeen hundreds, but not all. KeraGlass inherited this unique legacy and knowledge of glass melting. The EuroKera site has not gone away from the highest standards set up centuries ago to meet and exceed royal expectations.Keeping this legacy at our core with pride, we have incorporated the latest process innovations and technical prowess. KeraGlass makes today a glass-ceramic of a quality that is still worth admiring in a castle, at home or in a building.
